Lia was born with an innate love of all the faces and voices of nature.
She found unconditional love amid the wild violets on her backyard hill as a child. She was drawn to sweet berries, creek stones, and butterflies on pathways through parks while she parented.
And in her hardest season, she let the winds in the forest wrap her in songs of hope.
While life continues to blossom and change, she always overhears the quiet promises whispered by flowers, trees, lichen, feathers, and all the gifts of nature — as they share wisdom about surrender, resilience, and rejuvenation.
Her growing collection of poems, which she’s planning to publish someday soon, serves as an ongoing letter of gratitude.
